Effect: Activating the rune with an item will mark the item as a Damage Sensor Creator. Left click with this tool to create new Damage Sensors bound to that signature. Damage sensors trigger any runes designated with Automation Designator using a matching signature. The designated runes need to be inside the range defined by the tier.
Uses: Based on energy
Tool: Any non-block item.
Energy Cost: Each time the tool creates a new damage sensor you are charged 1 Iron Ore worth of Energy.
Tier Effect: Tier is set by the block that the Damage Sensor is originally applied to. This block sets the max distance that automations are triggered. Tier is determined by the block you put the Damage Sensor on.
T0: 8 T1: 8 T2: 12 T3: 18 T4: 24 T5: 32 T6: 64 T7: 128
Breaking: To destroy a damage sensor you need to attack it with a sword, or cast a dispel rune with Tier >= 3 near it. This rune knows who triggered it and what face was used(this is useful to link with pegasus).
The fences in the pattern *must* be "Oak Fences"; other kinds of wood such as Dark Oak or Birch won't work.
Updates: This Rune was changed in a major way for Runecraft 3.0.1. It now engraves a Tool with "Damage Sensor Creator". This tool can be used repeatedly to create a large array of damage sensor blocks on the same signature, making it practical to coat a wall with this enchantment. In addition to the automation capabilities, Damage Sensors can only be damaged by Swords and so are nearly invulnerable. This is somewhat offset by the Runic Energy cost of coating a base in Damage Sensors. The tool does not store a Tier.
"There is already magic here that interferes." - Another rune's magic is already present at this location.
