Effect: Creates a Toggle Block Designator from whatever tool you rightclicked the rune center with. Left click/punch the block you'd like to designate as a Toggle Block with the designator. Right-click the toggle blocks to phase them out, then place the blocks you'd like to toggle to on the same space where you have placed the initial toggle block[s]. To toggle between the two different kinds of "states", just right-click the blocks BESIDE the toggle blocks. This will allow you to toggle with Air and make secret doors. If you are using different block types that need to be toggled and you'd like the whole set to be toggleable, be sure to use a designator that has the same signature as the one you used to make the original blocks.
Tool: Any non-block item.
Uses: Based on energy.
Energy Cost: 1 Piston worth of energy.
Removal: Toggle blocks can only be truly destroyed with a sword (pickaxe in creative), doing so will cause both blocks (state 1 and state 2) to drop, and the block to stop toggling.
If you'd like to change the looks of either of the two "states" you can get with the Toggle Blocks, do the following:
- You can remove the second "state" of the Toggle Blocks with, for example, a pickaxe, and place ANOTHER "set" of blocks instead on the same place, and can toggle this new second "state" of the Toggle Blocks with the first "state" of Toggle Blocks.
- To change the first "state" of the toggle blocks is a bit trickier, because, if you try to mine the first state, the second state will be activated, so you cannot change the looks of the first state. However, if you hold the first state in place via a Lock Block, then it can be mined normally and replaced with the new desired set of blocks.
"There is already magic here that interferes." - Another rune's magic is already present at this location.
