Effect
When the bound rune is created, you can right click on blocks and a lava block will be formed at the top of the block.

Right click the rune with a magma cream, it will enchant the item and you can then right click blocks and lava will be created at the top of the block. As with surface tension, be careful where you right click but even more so as lava could result in character death and loss of items. Best results, only right click on the top of blocks, and make sure it is not in hand when using a chest, or any other interactive item.
